Winner of the Geoff Evans memorial Poetry Prize 2015, Mab Jones is one of Wales best known contemporary poets. Described as a 'unique talent' by The Times she has read her work all over the UK as well as in the US, France, Ireland and Japan and is a regular at festivals and events. Her awards include the John Tripp Spoke Poetry Audience prize, The Neil Gaiman Word Factory short Story competition among others. She runs International Dylan Thomas Day and is a freelance writer for the New York Times.
