unusual majolica style antique oak jug

Very unusual, large majolica jug with lidded spout decorated with oak leaves and acorns. Grey /green overglaze. There is an impressed script mark to the base however we are unable to decipher it - it may say JJJ or JH
We are unsure of its age or origin but it does have some some age - possibly early 20th century
A very good quality piece with fine detailing in really excellent condition, a bit of a mystery and definitely a conversation piece.
