Greenham Common tea towel

Regular price £15.80

The Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp was established to prevent nuclear weapons being housed in the UK. Established entirely by women, the campaign was kept up for 19 years, with many women moving into the camp for long periods of time. The tea towel was inspired by a collage made by the women at the site.

The camp grew from the work of Women for Life on Earth, an anti-nuclear, Welsh women’s peace movement, founded by West Wales woman, Ann Pettitt and a group of friends in early 1981.
