Large semi abstract monochrome raku vessel with a round base and ovoid top. A strong shape decorated in white with natural raku markings with a lovely velvety textured black. One side has a glazed circle accent, the other has a glazed square. 

Mick Morgan has been producing raku pottery in his West Wales pottery since 1975. His work is collected  internationally and he exhibits at select galleries across the UK. Using only natural materials he makes his own clay and glazes

All of Micks works have his impressed makers mark to the base. The price includes UK P&P

Raku is a Japanese ceramic technique dating back to the 16th Century. The pottery is removed from the kiln when red hot and placed amongst combustible materials which leave the characteristic marks upon the surface.
