Vintage Welsh blanket in gold, immaculate condition.

This double sized,  gold, black, red and white double-sided Welsh tapestry blanket is in immaculate condition. Purchased from the daughter of the original owner. It dates to the 1950s / 60s . The design is a little different to the usual Caernarfon design that is seen so often. This was one of the designs used by Elvet Woollen Mill in Cynwel Elfed, Just up the road from where we are based.

The reverse side has an attractive mix of colours including speckled, green and pink.

This is a superb blanket which has had virtually no use, it has been in storage. No discoloration or damage. Fringed to all four sides, slightly shorter fringe on one end (presumably so it doesn't tickle your chin too much when you're sleeping).
